Here at studio four, we work on a variety of exercises on the reformer. We use exercises to promote length, strength, flexibility, and balance. Reformer exercises use pushing, or pulling of the carriage, to create resistance in the springs.

 

One of the best things about the reformer is its versatility and its ability to be adapted. Exercises can be performed lying down, sitting, standing, pulling the straps, pushing the foot bar, using the shoulder supports, the use of additional equipment, being upside down, sideways, and more! You name it we can do it!
